Microsoft: New free Javascript programming course for beginners and not so beginners

Microsoft has released a new series of video tutorials on YouTube for novice programmers to get a reputable programming language: JavaScript.

For JavaScript, Microsoft has released a series of 51 videos como ‘Beginner’s Series to JavaScript’, for programmers, young developers and coders who are interested in building browser applications using JavaScript.

These tutorial videos will also help programmers and coders to use the software development kits. (SDK) and the relevant JavaScript frameworks, as Google Angular.

The tutorials do not cover all aspects of JavaScript, in fact they will help build a foundation from which one can continue to grow.

At the end of this series, Microsoft claims novice programmers will be able to work through tutorials, quick starts, books and other resources, and will continue to grow on their own.

The course takes students through the process of understanding the importance of running JavaScript in the browser for applications with a user interface or a server for web services and backend functionality..


The video series has been designed to be consumed as it sees fit. One can look from start to finish or dive into specific topics.

In these tutorials, students are also taught and guided to develop the application “Hello World”. 

What's more, teach beginners about Azure AI services, como Azure Cognitive Services y Azure Bot Framework, that have JavaScript implementations.
